Show HN: We are building GitHub for Education Dear HN, Today we're launching a massive update(0.3.0) to our AI facilitated inquiry based learning app, SocratiQ. Our first users are learning everything from Electrodynamics to Single-cell evolution to World History. We are now making it easier for them to understand where they stand and share their learning with others. 1. Insights: SocratiQ now shows your learning insights with a learning map (Like GitHub's Contribution Chart) and Topic Mastery across your explorations. 2. Teach the World Project: You can now publish your workspace for others to "fork" and continue their exploration. We believe that LLMs have opened the door for super-important ideas in EdTech. For example, inquiry based learning was always prohibitively expensive because you need highly skilled humans providing feedback at critical junctures. We are using this opportunity to democratize access to inquiry based learning for everyone. SocratiQ offers rich text/media notes for teachers to create / curate reference material. The learners can then study on their own or with their peers, getting personalized feedback / lessons / guides. Teachers can add notes to the student responses or AI questions / feedback to offer further clarification or guidance. Students can take rich notes, collect reference material in the app. We are also building more course creation and study tools into the platform. Teachers / Students can publish their exploration for the world to view, learn from or continue their exploration. In short GitHub for education.
